CMAA: Press release on meeting of technical working group on mine action (TWG-MA)
On 14 October 2025, the Cambodian Mine Action and Victim Assistance Authority (CMAA) announced the convening of the Technical Working Group on Mine Action (TWG-MA) meeting, scheduled to take place on 16 October 2025 at Sokha Hotel and Residence, Phnom Penh.
The meeting will provide an opportunity to review the progress, challenges, and lessons learned from the implementation of the National Mine Action Strategy 2018-2025; outline the strategic direction for the next phase of Cambodia’s mine action efforts; provide an update on the development of the National Mine Strategy 2026-2035 and the proposed work plan under the Anti-Personnel Mine Ban Convention (APMBC); and serve as an inclusive forum for dialogue and problem-solving, promoting coordinated efforts to step toward a mine-free Cambodia.
